This city girl has been trying homesteading techniques in my home (homestead) in the city. I do container gardening for veggies in the summer. I attend many pick your own farms throughout Essex County for fruits and veggies. My goal is for a Simplified Life in the city. I am a wife, mother and grandmother of two. We are Empty Nesters. It just myself, my husband and our chihuahua Luna.
