We all know to think “buy local”, to support community and to reduce shipping costs and side-effects.
But there is another reason to source garden seeds locally: seeds that are grown and collected locally (regionally) are from plants that have adapted to the climate that you live in.
That makes them more hardy and, perhaps, better producers in your garden. … “if” they were grown and collected locally and NOT shipped in from some other region.
