Seed Saving - 800 years ago

A story showed up in my social media about an 800 year old clay pot that was found buried in the soil of ancient First Nations land. 

In the pot we’re some seeds. 
Researchers tried sprouting the seeds. 
The seeds were still viable and we now have the beginnings of an old (and extinct) species of squash brought back to life.
