I love these apple cookies.
This batch of cookies has 4 apples in it. That has to make them healthy, right?
I’ve been making this recipe for .. maybe 30 years? It’s always a favourite.
The recipe
Mix together:
Add in
Mix in
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder

- (And I always add a pinch of salt)
Finely chop and then add:

- (I chop them in my little Ninja Blender)
Scoop into 2” balls
Dip in a cinnamon-sugar mixture
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Bake at 350F for about 12 minutes.

They will be
really soft!!! If you over cook them they will be really, really crunchy and they won’t be a favourite. Talking from experience.
Trust the soft-ness
I have no idea if they store well as they usually don’t make it through a day or two!
This is a great winter recipe, using the apples in storage that might be getting a little soft.
