re: Water collection

We have one of those giant containers. They are fantastic as rain barrels. 

We call ours “Big Bertha”.
We were fortunate to get one that had  had food dye in it, so we didn’t have to worry about cleaning it out. 

I always wonder about how the sun break down the plastic? Have you done any research on that?
